LT5 CORVETTE ZR1 INFORMATION

    The LT5 engine was available 90-95 Corvette.  The ZR1 engine sported an all aluminum block and cylinder heads, DOHC (Dual Overhead Cams), and 32 valves (4 per cylinder).  The LT5 had a super high redline and broad power band, making it the fastest production vehicle of it's time.

    The LT5 Corvette cylinder head was aluminum, and consisted of 32 valves (2 intake valves and 2 exhaust valves), all operated by 2 camshafts per cylinder head.  Spark plugs were located in the center of the combustion chamber for maximum power.  There were 3 different versions of the LT5 cylinder head, although they are all very similar.   This cylinder head is unique to the LT5 Corvette engine, and is not compatible with any other engine platform.
